Here's a list of all of the tools that we use and recommend for our different online businesses. We strive to include any discounts where we could get them from the software owners. Some of these may be affiliate links, but we wouldn't recommend something that we didn't think would benefit your business.

E-Commerce Tools

Shopify - Shopify is by far our favorite e-commerce platform because how easy and robust it is. We now use it for all of our stores and don't plan on switching any time soon.

Grasshopper - An affordable and reliable phone service that we use to get professional 1-800 numbers and take calls from anywhere in the world. A must-have if you want to increase your conversion rate and close big sales.

Klaviyo - A specialized e-commerce autoresponder that links up directly with your Shopify store. Makes it simple to e-mail customers exactly what they're interested in.

Shoptimized - Our favorite Shopify theme because it's designed specifically to convert customers. It's affordable, extremely user friendly and has good customer support. We use it on all of our stores.

Web Hosting & Domains

NameCheap - Easy, secure and fast way to register a new domain name. We use them for almost all of our sites and have nothing but positive things to say.

WPX Hosting - If you're starting a WordPress blog, WPX Hosting has the best support we've ever experienced. They do a free migration of existing sites and always have someone available via live chat to help. Issues usually get solved in a matter of minutes and without a headache. They're the real deal.

Kindle Direct Publishing

Aweber - Our go-to autoresponder for managing our big reader lists. It's simple, hassle-free and just plain works. You can even use their forms to collect leads without having your own website!

GetBookReport - The best way to manage your royalty reports and see which books are actually earning money.

Craigslist Manila - A great place to find Filipino assistants for all sorts of tasks. - If you need something more technical, has a great platform for vetting Filipino contractors/employees.

Upwork - Easy to find exactly what you need and quickly, but tends to be far more costly than other options.

Fiverr - Ideal for one-off tasks such as creating logos.

Quickbooks Online - Taxes suck, but Quickbooks makes it as managable as it can be. It syncs with your bank account and credit cards so that you can bulk classify expenses and revenue and hand it to your accountant.
